Founder & Director
Shelly Summerton Gregg earned a bachelor’s degree in education and a master’s degree in social work, both from Boston College. She holds a second masters degree in special education from North Carolina State University. Shelly has traveled across North Carolina as a facilitator with the Schools Attuned® Program, a national professional development program designed for educators by leading education expert Dr. Mel Levine founder of the All Kinds of Minds® organization. Shelly is a National Board Certified Teacher with ten years of experience teaching middle school students in Wake and Dare counties. She has worked at The Hill Center and The Trilogy School, two Triangle area schools specializing in work with students with learning disabilities. Before entering the teaching profession, Shelly worked with adolescents in residential treatment settings in Virginia and Ohio.
